Laurie lives with her husband, Skip, in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley in Montana.  What started as a hobby has grown into a  fun, therapeutic and rewarding business. Often she mulls over a design for several days prior to painting, giving each barn quilt her focused and careful attention. As she has often told friends and customers, “I enjoy being in my own world during the creative process.” Barn quilts have enriched Laurie’s life and she hopes that the barn quilts she creates will do the same for her customers and for all who see the beautiful and colorful barn quilts that are hung throughout the valley. 

Our Barn Quilts     

 We use a quality medium density overlay panel, it is a paintable surface made of plywood with a weather-resistant resin overlay bonded to the wood by heat and pressure – created for signs.

Paint finishes on MDO are up to three times more durable than the same finish applied to ordinary plywood.  We use high-quality exterior primer and exterior paint. We have a great array of colors available.
